Common questions
- Where can I get the app?Thyme to Cook isn’t in the App Store yet. It’s coming first to iPhone and Apple Watch. Write to us and we’ll tell you when it’s ready.
- Is it free? It’s free to start. Paid plans add features and cover more people in a shared cookbook; their prices and renewal terms are shown in the app before you buy anything. Letting a plan lapse never deletes your recipes.
- Why did an import get a recipe wrong?Imports are read by a machine, which can misread a quantity or miss a step. Every imported recipe keeps a link to its source so you can check, and you can edit any recipe.
- How do I invite someone to my cookbook? In the app, open Settings and choose Share your cookbook, then make an invite code and send it to them. More on sharing.
- How do I delete my account? In the app, open Settings and choose Delete account. It removes your recipes, photos, plans and sessions. You can export a full copy first from the same place. What survives deletion.
- How do I report something?Every shared recipe has a Report control. You can also block anyone. Reports are read by a person, and we aim to respond within 48 hours. Community rules.
- Can I rely on the allergy check? No. If an allergy is serious, don’t rely on any app: it searches the words in an ingredient list and can’t see a shared fryer or what’s in your cupboard. Read the labels on what you’re cooking with. Read the full note.
